Summary

Targeting epithelial plasticity in pancreatic cancer

The research focus of the Reichert group is on the molecular underpinnings of cellular plasticity in cancer initiation and dissemination as well as resistance to chemotherapy. Using system biology approaches as well as complementary in vitro and in vivo assays, his laboratory addresses questions related to both basic as well as translational pancreatic cancer biology.

Dr. Max Reichert is a Max-Eder Group Leader, TUM Junior Fellow and he is heading the Patient-derived Organoid Repository at the Klinikum rechts der Isar, Technical University of Munich. He is a principal investigator within the collaborative research center SFB 1321: Modelling and Targeting Pancreatic Cancer (TP12 and S01).
