After the first successful edition of the German Cancer Research Congress in early 2019, the 2. German Cancer Research Congress will take place on 18 and 19 October 2021.

Again, the German Cancer Society, German Cancer Aid and the DKFZ will organise the congress together with their networks, the CCC Network, the German Cancer Consortium (DKTK), the National Centres for Tumour Diseases (NCT) and the AEK to present the performance of oncological research in Germany.

Due to the pandemic, we have decided to hold the congress virtually. But that does not stop us from presenting the top cancer research in Germany.

Together, the Scientific Program Committee and the Congress Presidents have set up an inspiring program which gives you insights into the current developments in Cancer Prevention, Basic Cancer Research, Preclinical Cancer Research and Early Clinical Cancer Research.

In addition, we offer 12 interactive workshops on various topics across the entire spectrum of cancer research.

The third highlight will be a large virtual poster exhibition, where the top poster authors will have the opportunity to present their work in a session. Take advantage of this opportunity and submit your abstract for the poster exhibition now! Please note that the deadline for submission is September 10th at noon!
